I just bought this filter the night before for my Quarantine tank (I accidentally dropped my AC Mini on the HARD kitchen floor tiles...you know what happened then) and I woke up at about 4:30 am to take a nice session of jogging (harsh for a 12-year old, heh?) when I looked at the tank in my room and nearly passed out! Almost all the crudy gunk from one week's mess without a filter was gone! The Hydor was 100% blamable for this situation. I think this filter is the best bang for the buck, although it is kind of expensive. Still, the filtration this baby gives is actually scary and should be given an 8 or 9 outta 10!
