Beautiful and very bright fish, gorgeous in the tank in a small school. Should be kept as one male in a school with many females, as males can kill each other while establishing dominance. Like all anthias, they can change sex throughout their life. If the dominant male dies, the largest female will usually turn male and take his place. Drawbacks are that they need frequent feeding and are often picky eaters, sometimes causing nitrate spikes in the reef aquarium.
